Luciano Catenacci (born April 15, 1933 in Rome , † October 4, 1990 in Melbourne ) was an Italian actor and production manager .

Life

Catenacci was the production manager of some films when he was told by Mario Bava, whose Die toten Augen des Dr. Dracula he was working on was persuaded to take on a role as a performer. Soon he was cast to his appearance - mostly bald, expressive eye area, masculine-tart - mostly as a cunning, sadistic character and played mafiosi, pistoleros and the henchmen of villains in a large number of commercial films. Occasionally he, who was also credited as Max Lawrence and Luciano Lorcas , was also given the opportunity to demonstrate existing talent, such as Benito Mussolini in Damiano Damiani's Girolimoni - il mostro di Roma. At the beginning of the 1980s he retired from acting. Shortly after resuming this activity, Catenacci died of heart disease.
