Two Out of Band is a 1977 comedy starring Bud Spencer and Terence Hill .
content
Wilbur Walsh and Matt Kirby unsuccessfully seek work in the Port of Miami . By chance, the two of them clash, first one after the other and then together with a gangster syndicate that controls the port. They then decide together to raid a supermarket , but accidentally end up in the police administration office.
When they have to explain themselves, they commit to the training and then go on the streets of Miami as patrol officers . They have to solve the case of a murdered Chinese and come across the gangster syndicate from the port again. The gangsters killed the Chinese because he unknowingly stole drugs from them. The Syndicate tries unsuccessfully to eliminate Wilbur and Matt several times. When the gangsters bring another large shipment of drugs to a bowling center , the two follow them. A big fight breaks out, at the end of which all the gangsters are arrested.
production
The shooting took place almost exclusively in Miami. The beatings at the end were filmed in a bowling alley in Italy. The opening credits show the Fontainebleau Miami Beach , which was also the setting in James Bond 007 - Goldfinger .
Laura Gemser , who later became famous through the film series Black Emanuelle , has one of her last appearances in a "normal" film before switching to erotic films.
synchronization
The German version was created by Deutsche Synchron KG, Berlin. The script and dialogue direction were in the hands of Karlheinz Brunnemann , who also took on these tasks for numerous other Spencer and Hill films.
