Luciano Ciavatta

Luciano Ciavatta (born December 1, 1955 in Serravalle ) is a San Marinese politician. In 1994/95 he was one of the two Capitani Reggenti (heads of state) of San Marino .

Life

Ciavatti represented the Partito Socialista Sammarinese (PSS) in the 23rd and 24th legislative periods in the San Marinese parliament, the Consiglio Grande e Generale . In the 2001 parliamentary election, he ran again for the PSS, but failed to make it into parliament.

After Emma Rossi's resignation , he was Minister for Territory, Environment, Agriculture and Relations with the AASP (Deputato per il Territorio, l'Ambiente, l'Agricultura ei Rapporti con l'AASP) from 1997 to 1998 , in the following Cabinet, which also formed from Partito Democratico Cristiano Sammarinese (PDCS) and PSS, he was Minister of Health (Segretario di Stato per la Sanità e la Sicurezza Sociale) .

For the term of office from October 1, 1994 to April 1, 1995, he and Renzo Ghiotti were elected Capitano Reggente (head of state of San Marino).

Ciavatta has been the San Marino ambassador to Luxembourg since 2007 (based in San Marino).

In 1994 Ciavatta founded the consulting company United Consulting, of which he is chairman.

Awards

Ciavatta was awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic on June 11, 1990 .
