Lucie Silvas
Lucie Silvas (born September 4, 1977 ) is a British singer-songwriter .
Life & Career
Lucie Silvas (born Lucie Joanne Silverman) spent her childhood in New Zealand . She started playing the piano at the age of five and wrote her first love song when she was ten. Back in England, she studied music in college. Today she lives in Leicester .
At 17 she met Gary Barlow and accompanied him on his "Open Road Tour". The first record deal followed, she supported Macy Gray and M People , met Chris Martin from Coldplay , who is enthusiastic about her voice.
Lucie Silvas is still more successful with writing songs than with singing. She has already written songs for Rachel Stevens , Gareth Gates and Liberty X , among others . In 2005, she released her first album Breathe In equity and foreign compositions, such as Nothing Else Matters by Metallica .
