Lucien Agoumé (born February 9, 2002 in Yaoundé ) is a Cameroonian - French football player who has been under contract with the Italian first division club Inter Milan since summer 2019 . He has been the French U18 international since August 2019 .

Career

society

Born in Cameroon , Agoumé came to France as a child, where he played for a short time at clubs in Besançon , eastern France . His talent was recognized early and scouts from stronger clubs discovered the young midfielder . In 2014 he was brought to FC Sochaux-Montbéliard's youth academy. At the age of 15 he played for the Lionceaux U-19 team . At the age of 16 he was brought into the first team by the professional coach José Manuel Aira . On October 19, he was substituted on for the first time in a league game in the 2-1 away win against ES Troyes AC . Aira was released in mid-November and under his successor Omar Daf he was given further employment opportunities. He played his first game from the start on December 22, 2018 in a 1-0 home win against FC Lorient .

In the summer of 2019, his move to the Italian first division club Inter Milan was announced, where he signed a three-year contract. At Internazionale he was initially scheduled in the Primavera. In November he was for the first time in the matchday squad of the first team of head coach Antonio Conte . On December 15 (matchday 16) he made his debut in a 1-1 draw against Fiorentina when he came on for Borja Valero in the 84th minute .

National team

He made his debut for the French U-16 national team on May 5, 2018 against Portugal . In the 2-3 defeat in the friendly against Germany , he scored both goals for France.

Agoumé has been running for France's U-17s since September 2018 . He made his debut against Spain on September 25, 2018 .
