Luckow-Petershagen is a district of the Casekow municipality in the Uckermark district in the northeast of Brandenburg, which was incorporated at the end of 2002 . It consists of the municipalities of Luckow and Petershagen, which were independent until 1973.
Geography and transport links
Luckow-Petershagen is located north of the core town of Casekow on the K 7309 district road .
The A 11 (= E 28) runs to the west and north , into which the A 20 joins from the north and continues south as the B 166 . The Petershagen (Uckerm) stop is on the Berlin – Szczecin railway line . The regional train line RB 66 operates .
The border with Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania runs 1.5 km to the north.
Nature reserves
- The 310.45 ha large nature reserve Blumberger Wald , which was placed under nature protection on May 16, 1990, lies to the southwest.
- The 18.82 ha large nature reserve Große Hölle near Luckow-Petershagen was placed under nature protection on February 1, 1997 (see list of nature reserves in Brandenburg ).
- The 106.83 hectare nature reserve Piepergrund lies to the northeast.
