The Piepergrund is a 106.83 hectare nature reserve in the Uckermark district in Brandenburg . It is located north of and directly adjacent to Petershagen , a district of the Casekow municipality . The state border with Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania runs along the northern edge of the area .

The dry grassland area has been a nature reserve since February 1, 1997.
