The Netzowsee-Metzelthiner Feldmark nature reserve is located in the area of the town of Templin in the Uckermark district in Brandenburg .
The area with the identification number 1635 was placed under nature protection by ordinance of October 22, 2014 . The approximately 1262 hectare nature reserve in which Netzowsee is located extends north of the core town of Templin. The L 23 state road runs to the south, the L 217 to the east and the B 109 to the south-east . The Gleuensee extends to the east , the Bruchsee on the southeastern edge and the 511 hectare Templiner See to the south .
