The nature reserve Boitzenburger Tiergarten und Strom is located in the communities Boitzenburger Land and Nordwestuckermark and in the city of Prenzlau in the district of Uckermark in Brandenburg .

The 1215 hectare area was placed under nature protection by ordinance of October 18, 2017 and replaces the previous, smaller nature reserve Tiergarten Boitzenburg . The nature reserve extends between the core town of Boitzenburg in the west and the core city of Prenzlau in the east along the river , a 25-kilometer tributary of the Ucker . The 10.3 km² Unteruckersee extends to the east .
