The Buchheide nature reserve is located in the Uckermark district in Brandenburg .

The area with the identification number 1050, which belongs to the Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve , was placed under nature protection by ordinance of October 1, 1990 . The approximately 566 hectare nature reserve extends south of the core town of Templin . The state road L 216 runs through the area and the B 109 runs to the west . The Krempsee extends south-west and the 55.3-hectare Polsensee south-east .
