The peat quarry near Polßen is a 13.63 hectare nature reserve in the Uckermark district in Brandenburg . It is located southeast of and directly adjacent to Polßen , a district of the municipality of Gramzow .

The area has been a nature reserve since October 1, 1990. It serves "to preserve and restore the habitats of threatened animal and plant species, especially the communities of the moist orchid meadows ."
