The Jungfernheide nature reserve is located in the Uckermark district in Brandenburg .

The 1732.12 hectare nature reserve, which was placed under nature protection by ordinance of September 29, 2009 , extends between Boitzenburg in the northeast and Warthe , a district of the municipality of Boitzenburger Land , in the southwest. It includes u. a. these lakes: Schumellensee , Krienkowsee , Haussee and Poviestsee .

The state road L 15 leads through the nature reserve in the north-western area.
