The nature reserve Bollwinwiesen / Großer Gollinsee is located in the Uckermark district in Brandenburg .
The area with the identification number 1057, which belongs to the Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve , was placed under nature protection by ordinance of October 1, 1990 . The approximately 907.5 hectare nature reserve with the Großer Gollinsee and the 11.5 hectare Kleiner Vätersee extends to the west, north and southwest of Gollin , a district of the city of Templin . The state road L 100 runs to the east, the L 215 to the south and the L 216 through the area. The 55.3 hectare Polsensee extends on the northwestern edge of the area .

- to preserve the habitats of threatened animal and plant species and the oligotrophic - alkaline chain of lakes and the peat moss bogs
