The Damerower Forest is a nature reserve in the Uckermark district in Brandenburg . It is located southwest of Hetzdorf , a district of the Uckerland municipality , and southwest of Damerow , a part of the Nordwestuckermark municipality . The 203.73 hectare area has been a nature reserve since June 30, 1992 . The domed beech forest complex interspersed with alder fragments is part of the 897 km² (= 89,700 ha) nature park Uckermärkische Seen , which includes a total of 15 nature reserves.
