IC 3611 is a low luminosity galaxy from the Hubble type S? in the constellation Coma Berenices in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 120 million light years from the Milky Way and about 50,000 light years across. She is listed as a member of the Virgo galaxy cluster under catalog number VCC 1778 .
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4584 , IC 3613 , IC 3629 , IC 3631 .
The object was discovered by Arnold Schwassmann on November 19, 1900 .
