IC 3605 is a faint , irregular dwarf galaxy of the Hubble type Sd / Irr in the constellation Coma Berenices in the northern sky . It is an estimated 60 million light years away from the Milky Way and is about> 10,000 light years in diameter.
The galaxy NGC 4561 is located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Royal Harwood Frost on May 7, 1904 .
