IC 3624 is an elliptical galaxy of Hubble type E in the constellation Virgo the northern sky . It is estimated to be 988 million light years from the Milky Way and about 90,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of ​​the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4579 , NGC 4606 , IC 3604 , IC 3643 .

The object was discovered by Royal Harwood Frost on May 10, 1904 .
