IC 3635 is a spiral dwarf galaxy of the Hubble type Sc in the constellation Virgo on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 68 million light years from the Milky Way and about 20,000 light years across. She is listed as a member of the Virgo galaxy cluster under catalog number VCC 1828 .
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4620 , IC 3606 , IC 3631 , IC 3643 .
The object was discovered by Royal Harwood Frost on May 10, 1904 .
