IC 3629 is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sbc in the constellation of Berenike's hair in the northern sky . It is an estimated 618 million light years from the Milky Way and about 130,000 light years in diameter. She is listed as a member of the Virgo galaxy cluster under catalog number VCC 1808 .
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4611 , NGC 4584 , IC 3611 , IC 3613 .
The object was discovered by Royal Harwood Frost on May 10, 1904 .
