IC 3633 is an elliptical dwarf galaxy of the Hubble-type dE2 in the constellation Virgo on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 88 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 15,000 light-years across. She is listed as a member of the Virgo galaxy cluster under catalog number VCC 1826 .
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4596 , NGC 4608 , IC 3602 , IC 3634 .
The object was discovered by Royal Harwood Frost on May 10, 1904 .
