Since 1993 the places have been in the Brandenburg district of Uckermark.

The community was created in its current form on December 31, 2002 from the merger with the previously independent communities Blumberg, Luckow-Petershagen, Wartin and Woltersdorf. On October 26, 2003, the former community of Biesendahlshof Casekow was added.

Casekow

The village of Kosekow , later Kasekow , was first mentioned in a document in 1310. In the late Middle Ages, around 100 people lived in the village. From 1616 the peasants and cottagers were serfs . During the second half of the Thirty Years War, Wallenstein's troops and the Swedes ravaged the area. The landowner Heinrich Karl von der Osten released the serfs in 1793 against payment.

With the completion of the Berlin-Stettin railway line in 1843, a new era began in Kasekow. The place has been called Casekow since the railway station and post office opened in 1857 . Roads were built in all directions between 1892 and 1910. Agriculture continued to play the main role, but many craftsmen also settled in Casekow (including carpenters, shoemakers, millers and bakers). In the 1920s, the volunteer fire brigade and the local football club were founded and the village school was expanded. Casekow was part of the Prussian province of Pomerania until 1945 .

After the Second World War , the land reform began , from which the first LPG later emerged. The new school was opened in 1971 - a year earlier the old school had become unusable after a flood; In 1972 a new sports hall followed. After 1990, extensive modernization measures began in Casekow: in addition to a new filling station, a fire station was built, which was completed in 1997.

On October 4, 2014, the rebuilt memorial for the victims of the First World War was inaugurated. The original war memorial was built after 1918 and demolished in 1960 on the instructions of the mayor at the time.

In the spring of 2018, the former transformer building in the middle of Casekow became a species protection tower for bats and various bird species after a five-month restoration . It was built in the 1920s and from then on supplied Casekow with electricity . As of November 2018, the tower will also be under monument protection at the request of the local advisory council .

Blumberg Manor

Until the municipality reform, Blumberg was a separate municipality and belonged to Western Pomerania, in the former Randow district.

The knightly estate originally belonged to the von Randow family . Then the family von Sydow (Henrich der Alte) was enfeoffed with Blumberg & Woltersdorf in 1483. These remained a fiefdom of the von Sydow family for almost three centuries (together with the nearby Gut Schönow) . In 1763, Blumberg inherited the von der Osten family as a man's loan . In 1792 the mansion was built under Karl von der Osten, with two cavalier houses as wings. The estate had two outbuildings - Carlsburg and Hammelstall, the latter with the sheep farm corresponding to the name. Within the family there was then a change of branch at Gut Blumberg, in 1898 Friedrich Wilhelm von der Osten became the owner, and until then also the owner of Penkun Castle . The last owner of the 2,500 hectare Blumberg estate was Henning von der Osten, who was expropriated in 1945. The property came into the land reform, but was later converted to a nationally owned property (VEG). The manor house, which was badly damaged in the war, became a residence for the refugees after the war, later a multi-purpose house for the community - cultural center, kindergarten, etc. The von der Osten family bought the Blumberg manor again in 1996.
