Tanja Monique Bruske-Guth , also known by her pseudonym Lucy Guth , (* 23. November 1978 in Hanau ) is a German fantasy - author and journalist .

Life

Tanja Bruske grew up in Marköbel near Hanau, where she still lives today.

She attended the Otto Hahn School in Hanau, where she graduated from high school in 1998, and then studied German language and literature and theater, film and media studies at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main until 2002 . She wrote her master's thesis on the subject of pen & paper role-playing games .

During her studies she gained practical experience as a journalist, among others at Hit Radio FFH and RTL . After completing her studies, she volunteered at the Gelnhäuser Neue Zeitung , where she still works today.

Bruske is a member of the German Association of Journalists .

Tanja Bruske has been writing since primary school age. Her first fantasy novel Das Ewige Lied was published in 2007 after she won the competition for Hesse's most auspicious manuscript on the radio station FFH. With the Kinzigtal trilogy, Bruske wrote three mystery crime novels from 2013 onwards , which are set in her home region, the Main-Kinzig district . Her historical fantasy novels, the key of the time series, have been published since 2019 , which is designed in 18 volumes and each should tell a story from a place in the Main-Kinzig district.

Bruske has been active as a science fiction author under her pseudonym Lucy Guth since 2014 and has so far written 21 magazine novels, alone or in collaboration with other authors, for various series; including Maddrax and Perry Rhodan .

Bruske has written and published five plays.

Awards

In 2018 Tanja Bruske was named town clerk of Eggenburg for her novella The Executioner and the Witch at the Eggenburg Medieval Festival.
