Ludovico Lipparini (born February 17, 1800 in Bologna , † March 10, 1856 in Venice ) was an Italian painter .

Life

Ludovico Lipparini was born in Bologna on February 17, 1800. From 1825 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice ( Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia ), where he made friends with his teacher and later father-in-law Teodoro Matteini (1754-1831). In 1833 Lipparini was elected an honorary member ( Honorary NA ) of the National Academy of Design in New York . In 1838 he took over the chair of his father-in-law, in 1846 that of the art professor Odorico Politi (1785-1846). Among his students were the painters Cesare Dell'Acqua and Dionysios Tsokos . Lipparini died in Venice on March 10, 1856.
