Ludwig Ernst of Pöllnitz

Ludwig Ernst von Pöllnitz (born August 29, 1641 in Mosen ; † April 14, 1695 in Dresden ) was an electoral Saxon politician and heir to Röpsen and Benndorf , he was also provost of the cathedral in Naumburg and the regional director of Altenburg.

Life

Ludwig Ernst comes from the Vogtland family of Pöllnitz . His father was Hans Ludwig von Pöllnitz (* October 26, 1612; † October 9, 1679) and his mother Agnesa Magdalena von Teutleben (* May 12, 1617; † November 12, 1694).

He was Chancellor and Privy Councilor at the court in Dresden and Provost of the Naumburg Monastery . He sold the Silbitz manor in 1678. After his death he was transferred to Naumburg, where he was buried on April 28, 1695. For this reason, several funeral sermons appeared in print.

family

Since August 29, 1672 he was married to Clara Sophie von Bose (* October 18, 1655; † September 27, 1724) daughter of the Electorate Colonel and Oberamtmann zu Zwickau and Werda Karl von Bose and Sophia Stiebar von Buttenheim . The couple had the following children:
