Ludwig Hatzfeld

Ludwig Heinrich Philipp Hatzfeld (born May 1, 1810 in Nenderoth , † May 7, 1884 in Flacht ) was a German pastor and politician .

Life

The son of a priest, studied hard field after attending high school in Herborn theology at the universities of Marburg and Bonn and at the Theological Seminary Herborn . During his studies he became a member of the old Bonn fraternity in 1830 . After his studies he was ordained in 1833 and worked as parish vicar in Driedorf until 1838 , in Breitscheid until 1842 and in Bicken until 1846. From 1847 to 1854 he worked as a pastor in Breitscheid, then until 1856 in Wörsdorf im Taunus. From 1865 to 1870 he was pastor in the parish of Flacht. He published the ecclesiastical gazette from 1868 and was administrator of the dean's office in Diez from 1870 to 1874, where he retired as dean . He was politically active for a short time in 1848 when he became a member of the Estates Assembly of the Duchy of Nassau , but he resigned his mandate in the same year.
