Ludwig Kuntz (painter)
Ludwig Joseph Kuntz (born May 21, 1810 in Mannheim , † January 23, 1876 in Karlsruhe ) was a German painter , draftsman and lithographer .
Life
Kuntz trained under his father Karl Kuntz , then under Ernst Fries in Karlsruhe and from 1835 in Munich . He published 24 sheets of animal studies (Karlsruhe 1832) and the Italian sketches of his teacher Fries (Karlsruhe 1834).
His brother Rudolf Kuntz was also a painter.
