Ludwig Schmitt (born October 28, 1910 ; † in Soviet captivity ) was a German football player .

Career

Schmitt played for the Frankfurt district club BSC Oberrad until 1930 , before he was signed by Eintracht Frankfurt , of which he was a member until 1938. In the championships organized by the South German Football Association , he played as a goalkeeper in the district league Main / Hessen point games until 1933 . Emerging as the winner of the Main Group in 1930, he and his team took part in the final round of the South German Championship , in which he and his club were the first among the eight group winners in the final round and won his first title with the championship.
