Ludwig Freiherr von Wäcker-Gotter (born October 21, 1833 in Breslau , † May 24, 1908 in Baden-Baden ) was a German diplomat.

Life

Ludwig von Wäcker was a son of the first lieutenant and regimental adjutant von Wäcker. He attended the Maria-Magdalenen-Gymnasium in Breslau. After graduating from high school in Easter 1851, he studied at the Silesian Friedrich Wilhelms University , the Rheinische Friedrich Wilhelms University and the Friedrich Wilhelms University in Berlin . In 1852 he became a member of the Corps Marchia Breslau and the Corps Borussia Bonn . In 1854 he became court trainee, 1859 government assessor, 1867/68 exhibition commissioner in Paris, 1868 chief presidential councilor, 1869 consul general in Budapest, 1879 envoy in Mexico , 1888 in Lisbon and in 1892 envoy and plenipotentiary minister of the German Empire at the court of Serbia in Belgrade .
