The county Lugano East , together with the circles Agno , Breno , Capriasca , Ceresio , Lugano Nord , Lugano West , Magliasina , Paradiso , Sessa , tavern and Vezia the District Lugano of the Swiss canton of Ticino . The seat of the district office is in Lugano .

Communities

The district traditionally consisted of all quarters east of the Cassarate river of the following municipality:

With the incorporation of Valcolla , however, the separation to the right and left of the Cassarate River became pointless, which is why the new Lugano Nord district was founded.
