Luigi Bongianino
Luigi Bongianino (born November 20, 1919 in Borgo d'Ale , Vercelli Province , Italy , † October 14, 2003 ) was Bishop of Alba (Pompea) and later of Tortona .
Life
Luigi Bongianino received on 19 September 1942, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On February 2, 1968, Pope Paul VI appointed him . the Apostolic Administrator of Alba and appointed him titular bishop of Vulturia . The episcopal ordination received Bongianino on March 24 of that year by Franjo Cardinal Seper ; Co- consecrators were Archbishop Sergio Pignedoli and the Archbishop of Vercelli , Albino Mensa . On January 15, 1970 Paul VI appointed him. Bishop of Alba and on June 6, 1975 Bishop of Tortona .
His resignation was granted on February 2, 1996 by John Paul II .
