Life
Luis Fernando Rodríguez Velásquez received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Medellín on August 25, 1984 .
On July 5, 2014 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Illiberi and ordered him auxiliary bishop in Cali. The Apostolic Nuncio in Colombia, Archbishop Ettore Balestrero , donated him episcopal ordination on August 22nd of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Medellín, Ricardo Antonio Tobón Restrepo , and the Archbishop of Cali, Darío de Jesús Monsalve Mejía .
