Luis Ramos (born October 9, 1939 ) is a former Uruguayan football player .

Striker Ramos was a member of the Nacional Montevideo squad in the Primera División at least in 1964 and 1966 . In 1964 he took part in the finals of the Copa Campeones de América , in which Nacional had to hand over the trophy to the Argentinian representative Independiente . Ramos was used in both finals. With the Bolsos he finished the 1966 season as Uruguayan champions. Ramos' other career stations in the 1970s were the Misiones Football Club and Deportivo Español in Argentina , the Racing Club in Montevideo and the Venezuelan club Estudiantes de Mérida .
National team
Ramos was a member of the Uruguayan senior team . He also took part in the 1966 World Cup with Uruguay . However, coach Ondino Viera did not use his services during the tournament.

Ramos experienced two family tragedies in August 2006 and February 2007 when he had to accept the deaths of his two model daughters Luisel Ramos (1984-2006) and Eliana Ramos (1988-2007), both apparently due to heart failure or death. Heart attack died as a result of malnutrition.
