Luis Maria Zwick (born May 24, 1994 in Berlin ) is a German soccer goalkeeper who is under contract with 1. FC Schweinfurt 05 .
Life
Luis Zwick grew up in Kleinmachnow and started playing football in Teltow at the age of seven at Teltower FV in 1913. Until puberty he suffered from attacks of Rolandic epilepsy , which have now been overcome. He first played in left midfield and only became a goalkeeper in 2007. In 2009 he moved to the youth team of Hertha 03 Zehlendorf.
Career
Zwick continued his career in Zehlendorf in the men's team. After unsuccessful trial training at Optik Rathenow and the Berlin AK 07 , his father had videos made that he sent to various clubs. The only answer came from Dundee and after a trial session he joined the reserve team in 2014 and had his first game in October 2014.
After the departure of the goalkeeper Radosław Cierzniak before the start of the season , he was given the chance to play in the first team of Dundee United from August 2, 2015 . He made his debut for the team on the first day of the new season against FC Aberdeen . His professional contract ran from 2015 to 2017. Zwick received a total of 13 appearances in the Scottish Premiership and four in the Challenge Cup, which he won with Dundee United in 2017 .
In the summer of 2017, Zwick moved to FC Hansa Rostock . Since Hansa signed a fourth goalkeeper Janis Blaswich at short notice at the beginning of the season , Zwick was subsequently loaned to Hertha BSC II for a year in order to gain match practice there in the regional league . After three games and three defeats, Zwick had to sit out due to injury from September. During the current season he was used four more times before his contractual loan to Hertha in Berlin ended. He then moved to the Northeast Regionalliga to Optik Rathenow. For the 2019/20 season he is under contract with the Bavarian regional league team 1. FC Schweinfurt 05.
