Janis Jonathan Blaswich (born May 2, 1991 in Willich ) is a German soccer goalkeeper . He currently works at Heracles Almelo .
Career
Start of career in the Lower Rhine
Blaswich grew up in Hamminkeln - Mehrhoog in the Lower Rhine region and began playing football in 1997 in the youth department of VfR Mehrhoog . In 2007, he joined the youth academy of Borussia Monchengladbach . On June 6, 2009 Blaswich made his debut for the second team of Borussia, which played in Regionalliga West , in a 3-1 win against the second team of Bayer 04 Leverkusen . However, he continued to play in the A-Jugend-Bundesliga for the U19s.
For the 2010/11 season he was included in the squad of the second team and played regularly in the second team of Borussia. On October 18, 2011, he signed a professional contract, but should not play a league game for the professionals. In the 2014/15 season he became champions with the team and was eliminated in the promotion games to the third division against the Werder Bremen second team .
Loan engagements in Dresden and Rostock
For the 2015/16 season Blaswich was awarded to the third division team Dynamo Dresden until the end of the season. He was used in 30 games for Dresden and rose to the 2nd Bundesliga with them .
Then he returned to Mönchengladbach Borussia, but was not used in the second team or in the professional game. At the beginning of the 2017/18 season he was awarded to the third division team Hansa Rostock . Blaswich played 34 games for Rostock and was sixth in the third division, played in the DFB Cup against Bundesliga club Hertha BSC and won the regional cup .
Change to the Eredivisie
For the 2018/19 season, Blaswich finally left Borussia Mönchengladbach and moved to Heracles Almelo in the Eredivisie . His contract runs until 2021.
