Life

In particular, he expanded the ownership rights of the monastery. Archbishop Siegfried von Westerburg left the claims to the parish of Attendorn to him in 1290 . A short time later, Johann von Bilstein donated the high forest near Latrop to the monastery. The hereditary bailiffs from the house of the noble lords of Grafschaft renounced their preferential rights over the court of Glindfeld and other goods in favor of the monastery. Johann von Bilstein donated a memorial for his deceased mother in 1292. In return, the monastery received pensions from the mill near Schmallenberg . In 1296 there was a considerable exchange of property between the noblemen of Bilstein and the monastery. Luitbert later acquired other properties. In addition, in 1299 he exchanged half the Grafschafter tithe for various goods from the noble lords of the county. In 1297 Archbishop Wigbold von Holte commissioned him to move the nuns from the Küstelberg monastery to Glindfeld . In 1302 the archbishop set the number of prebends for the monks in the monastery at 24. In 1307 it came to the regulation of the relationship of the city Belecke to belonging to the monastery provost Belecke .
