Lukas Pfretzschner (born January 13, 2000 in Dachau ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career hall

Pfretzschner has been playing indoor volleyball in his hometown at ASV Dachau since 2010 , with which he became German champion in 2015 in Magdeburg in the U16 age group. Long-time coach was Josef Wolf . In 2015/16 he was used in the second Bundesliga and in 2016/17 he was a regular player in the third division. Pfretzschner was also active in the junior national team. In 2017/18 he played at VC Olympia Berlin in the second and 2018/19 in the first Bundesliga.

Career Beach

Pfretzschner has also been active in beach volleyball since 2015. With Luis Klimpe and Vincent Graven he played at numerous Bavarian and German youth championships. From July 2016 to 2017, Robin Sowa from Bitterfeld-Wolfen was his standard partner. Pfretzschner / Sowa immediately became U18 European champions in Brno, Czech Republic . In 2017, Pfretzschner and Julius Thole finished ninth at the U21 World Cup in Nanjing . With Markus Böckermann , Pfretzschner took part in the German championship in Timmendorfer Strand in the same year , as his partner Lars Flüggen was injured. In 2018 he and Filip John became U19 World Champion in Nanjing. Robin Sowa has been his partner again since 2019. Pfretzschner / Sowa started on the Techniker Beach Tour and on the FIVB World Tour . They finished fifth at the U21 World Cup in Udon Thani , second at the U22 European Championship in Antalya and ninth at the German championship . In 2020 they started with a third place in the 2-star tournament in Phnom Penh . In July Pfretzschner won the first tournament of the Comdirect Beach Tour 2020 with the Dutchman Steven van de Velde in Düsseldorf .
