Luke Greenfield
Luke Greenfield (born February 5, 1972 in Manhasset , Long Island , New York ) is an American director and film producer .
Life
Luke Greenfield grew up in Westport , Connecticut , about an hour's drive from New York City . In 1994 he finished his education at a cinema and film university in Southern California.
In 2000 he was discovered by Adam Sandler, among others, because of his short film "The Right Hook" and directed his first feature-length film, Animal - Das Tier im Manne (2001). In 2004 the film The Girl Next Door with the Canadian actress Elisha Cuthbert was made .
Greenfield also started his own production company, Wide Awake, in 2004 . He also signed a two-year contract with New Regency .
