The Luna is a 115 meter long mega yacht built at the Lloyd shipyard in Bremerhaven . It ranks 25th on the list of the longest motor yachts (as of 2019). Its first owner was the Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich . In 2014, the Russian businessman Farkhad Akhmedov acquired the ship. After a judgment in the course of a family law dispute in 2018, he should surrender the ship to his divorced wife.

The Luna sails under the Bermuda flag . Home port is Hamilton . The ship was completed in March 2010. In 2015 the ship was rebuilt at the German Dry Docks (GDD) shipyard in Bremerhaven.
