The Lunenburgh River (German: Lüneburg River ) is a river in the southwest of the Australian state of Western Australia .
geography
The river has its source on the southern slopes of the Darling Range near Fernbrook . From there it flows to the northwest, where he at beela in the Brunswick River flows .

history
The river was named in 1830 by Governor James Stirling after Ernst August I , King of Hanover and Prince of Braunschweig - Lüneburg . In 1813 the king was a passenger on the HMS Brazen , on which Stirling was the captain.
