Lutek (German Luttken ) is a village with a holiday home area in the municipality of Olsztynek . It is located six kilometers south of Olsztynek in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship (Polish Warmińsko-Mazurskie ) in Poland .

Lutek is embedded in the Masurian landscape with beech forests and is located on a small lake , where there are also numerous holiday homes. Lutek can be reached via the E 77 . From there a forest path goes about 2 kilometers through a forest to Lutek.

There are numerous holiday homes in Lutek. There is a tennis court and boat rentals. There is also the very large “Uppsala” stable.

history
The place that formerly belonged to East Prussia was called Luttkomanscheit until 1907. Since 1907 he had the German name Luttken. At the beginning of 1945 the region was captured by the Soviet army. In Poland , Lutek belonged to the Olsztyn Voivodeship until the Polish territorial reform and since 1999 to the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship . The initially only small settlement has in recent years, supported by the opening of the border and the accession of Poland to the EU, gained increasing tourist importance due to the holiday home area on the lake.
