history
Leutmannsdorf was founded as a Waldhufendorf by a knight Lutzmann in the course of the eastern colonization around 1250 . The place was divided into several parts: mountain side (Nieder Leutmannsdorf), base side (Ober Leutmannsdorf) and Klein Leutmannsdorf.
In 1374 Peter von Betschow on Ruppersdorf owned the Leutmannsdorfer Grundseite, in 1374 Bartholomäus von Betschow, 1393 Nicklas von Betschow in Ludwigsdorf. In 1423 it fell to his sons Kunze Heinz and Nickel von Betschow. In 1491 it belonged to Balzer von Leutmannsdorf and Kasper zu Falkenau. Finally in 1501 it came to the council of the city of Schweidnitz. The finance department in Schweidnitz remained the owner until the 19th century.
After the first Silesian War , Leutmannsdorf fell to Prussia and was incorporated into the Schweidnitz district. On March 30, 1742, the Protestant residents of Leutmannsdorf received permission to build a prayer house on the Leutmannsdorfer Grundseite. The construction was completed in 1744. At the same time a rectory and an evangelical school were built. The wooden structure was replaced by a new stone building in the second half of the 19th century due to its dilapidation. In the Protestant parish Leutmannsdorf were parish: Leutmannsdorf Grundseite, Leutmannsdorf Bergseite, Ober Leutmannsdorf, Groß Friedrichsfelde and Ludwigsdorf.
In 1830 Ober Leutmannsdorf had 118 houses, 3 farms, 901 inhabitants, 69 of them Catholic and the rest of them Protestant, 1 Protestant mother church, 1 Protestant school, 2 distilleries, 4 water mills and 1 windmill.
In 1937, Ober Leutmanndorf, Leutmannsdorf Bergseite, Leutmannsdorf Grundseite, Klein Leutmannsdorf and Groß Friedrichsfelde were combined to form the municipality of Leutmannsdorf. In 1939 the place had 912 households with 2922 inhabitants. When it was taken over by Soviet troops and the Polish administration in 1945, Ober Leutmannsdorf was renamed Lutomia Górna . Most of the German residents were expelled by October 1947 and replaced by Poles .
