Lyndsy Fonseca
Lyndsy Fonseca (* 7. January 1987 in Oakland , California as Lyndsy Marie Fonseca ) is an American actress . She is best known for her roles as Dylan Mayfair in the drama series Desperate Housewives and as Alex in Nikita .
life and career
Lyndsy Fonseca was born in Oakland, California and grew up in Alameda and later in Moraga .
Fonseca's career began when she was discovered at the age of 13 and immediately moved to Los Angeles after that. In 2001 she got her breakthrough role as Colleen Carlton in the television series Shadow of Passion , which she played until 2005. Shortly thereafter, she got other recurring roles in the television series Boston Public and as Ted's daughter Penny in How I Met Your Mother . End of 2007, she landed the role of Dylan Mayfair in Desperate Housewives alongside Andrea Bowen . She also had guest appearances on series such as Malcolm in the Middle , Heroes and Dr. House . She played a leading role in the films Your, Mine, Our Children and Seduction from the Internet . She also played the role of Katie Deauxma in Kick-Ass .
From 2010 to 2013 she played one of the leading roles in the action series Nikita .
After a marriage to the artist and writer Matthew Smiley (2009 to 2013), she married the actor Noah Bean in October 2016 . Their daughter was born in February 2018.
