Andrea Lauren Bowen (born March 4, 1990 in Columbus , Ohio ) is an American actress .

Life

She became known for her role as Julie Mayer in the television series Desperate Housewives , in which she plays the daughter of the clumsy Susan Mayer ( Teri Hatcher ). She started acting at the age of six, was a member of The Broadway Kids, and starred in television series such as Nip / Tuck , One Tree Hill , Boston Public , Law & Order, and The Closer . She voiced the young Feline in the US version of the Disney film Bambi 2 - The Lord of the Forests and Aerith in Final Fantasy VII : Crisis Core (for the PSP) . In 2009 she had a guest appearance in the television series Ghost Whisperer - Voices from Beyond (episode 4.15).
