Lynn Edythe Burke (born March 22, 1943 in New York City ) is a former American swimmer .

At the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960 , she became Olympic champion in the 4 × 100-meter medley relay. She also won over 100 meters back . In her career she set a total of six world records. In 1978 she was inducted into the hall of fame of international swimming .
