Nida Senff
Nida Senff , real name Dina Willemina Jacoba Senff (born April 3, 1920 in Rotterdam , † June 27, 1995 in Amsterdam ), was a Dutch swimmer .
At the Olympic Games in Berlin in 1936 , she was Olympic champion over 100 m back in front of her compatriot Rie Mastenbroek , although she had to swim back a few meters due to the missed stop at the turn. She also benefited from the non-nomination of the 1932 Olympic champion Eleanor Holm , who was excluded from her team on the crossing from the USA to Germany. In 1983 she was inducted into the international swimming pool 's hall of fame .
