Theresa Andrews (born August 25, 1962 in New London , Connecticut ) is a former American swimmer .
At the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, she was Olympic champion over 100 m back and with the 4 × 100 m medley relay of the USA. She dedicated the first gold medal to her brother, who has been disabled since a bicycle accident.
After her career she worked as a social worker in a skin clinic for several years.
