Lypiw Rih ( Ukrainian Липів Ріг ; Russian Липовый Рог Lipowyj Rog ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Chernihiv with about 1000 inhabitants (2001).
The village, which was founded in the first half of the 14th century, is the only place in the 26.415 km² district council of the same name in the center of Nischyn Rajon .
The village is 124 m above sea level on the banks of the Oster , a 199 km long tributary of the Desna , 9 km northeast of the Rajon center of Nizhyn and 89 km southeast of the Chernihiv oblast center .
The Lypivrisky Oak ( Липіврізький дуб ) is a botanical natural monument that, according to estimates by the Kiev Ecological and Cultural Center, is around 500 years old.
