Mário Ferreira Bastos Raposo (born January 15, 1929 in Coimbra , † October 2, 2013 in Lisbon ) was a Portuguese politician of the Partido Social Democrata (PSD).

Life

Mário Ferreira Bastos Raposo worked as a lawyer after studying law . After the Carnation Revolution of April 25, 1974, he began his political commitment and was elected as a candidate of the Partido Social Democrata (PSD) in the election of April 25, 1976 for the first time as a member of the Assembly of the Republic ( Assembleia da República ) and represented in this from June 3, 1976 to January 2, 1980 the interests of his hometown Coimbra . In the Nobre da Costa cabinet, he held the office of Minister of Justice (Ministro da Justiça) for the first time between August 29, 1978 and November 22, 1978 .
