The Mühlbach is the almost five kilometers long left and southern source stream of the Merkenfritzerbach in the Wetterau district in Hesse .
If one counts its other source stream with the Merkenfritzerbach , as it sometimes happens, the Mühlbach is corresponding to its inflow.

The Mühlbach rises in a small coniferous forest at an altitude of about 475 m above sea level. NN northeast of Gedern , immediately south of the B 275 . It first moves southwards between the Tempelwalde on its right side and the mixed forest floor in the Kesslerwiese on the left. South of the Gewanns In the local pit it is fed by a forest brook on its left. The Mühlbach now flows in a south-south-west direction, past the Köppelchen forest , then changes to the open corridor and reaches the outskirts of Gedern at the hammer mill . There it divides into several mill ditches and finally joins at the corner of Am Stillhof / Weningser Straße at an altitude of about 301 m above sea level. NN with the Gänsbach to the Merkenfritzerbach .
