The MG HS is an SUV of the Chinese car brand MG , which is built by SAIC Motor .
history
In April 2018, MG presented a first preview of a new SUV at the Beijing Auto Show with the X-Motion concept vehicle . The production vehicle was presented at the Chengdu Auto Show in September 2018 and went on sale in China shortly afterwards . From November 2019 the vehicle will also be offered in the United Kingdom .
The plug-in hybrid version MG eHS was presented in September 2019 .
technology
The MG HS uses the same platform as the Roewe RX5 , but does not use its Alibaba - infotainment system . Instead, a system is used that was developed by SAIC.
Technical specifications
A 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 124 kW (169 hp) or 127 kW (173 hp) and a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with 170 kW (231 hp) are available as drive variants for the SUV .
The eHS presented in September 2019 has 214 kW (291 PS). MG specifies the electric range as 75 km.
